Terms
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and D4B Marketing, LLC (“Anchor2X”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them; we have kept them as plain as we can.
The parts people most often look for:
1. What Anchor2X is
Anchor2X introduces neurodivergent adults to one another for body doubling: working quietly alongside another person on a video call. We verify members, suggest matches, and let you invite each other to sessions.
Sessions take place on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, using a link a member provides. We do not host, join, watch or record sessions. Anchor2X is not a dating service, and it is not therapy, coaching or medical advice.
2. Who can join
- You must be 18 or older and live in the United States.
- You must pass our ID check using your own, valid, government-issued state ID.
- You may have one account, and only you may use it.
- You may not join if we have previously removed you from Anchor2X.
3. Verification and matching
The ID check is run by our partner, Didit. For now, members are matched only with others who have the same gender marker on their verified ID. By joining you agree to be matched this way. Our Privacy policy explains what we keep from the check.
Matching uses the marker printed on your ID (M, F or X) and nothing else. We cannot change it for you, and if few members share your marker you may see few matches or none.
We suggest matches but do not promise that you will find one, or that any match will suit you.
4. Your account
- Keep your password private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Keep your profile honest and up to date.
- What you write on your profile, in invites and in reports stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to other members as needed to run the service.
5. What we expect of members
- Be respectful. No insults, harassment or pressure.
- Keep sessions about getting work done. No flirting or sexual content.
- Respect the other person's camera and talking preferences.
- Do not record or screenshot a session without the other person's clear agreement.
- Do not ask for money, sell anything, or recruit for anything.
- Show up for sessions you accept, or cancel beforehand.
- Be an adult using your own verified identity.
You also agree not to:
- Break the law, or use Anchor2X to harm, threaten or deceive anyone.
- Share a meeting link that leads anywhere other than a genuine video call.
- Collect other members' information, or contact them for purposes other than body doubling.
- Interfere with the site, try to get around its limits, or access it with automated tools.
6. Membership, renewal and cancelling
- Free. Creating an account, the ID check, your profile, seeing your matches and your first meeting cost nothing. Your free meeting counts as used once its start time arrives, even if the other person does not turn up. If it is cancelled before then, you get it back. While it is booked, you cannot book another without a membership.
- Membership. After your free meeting, sending or accepting invites needs a membership, which costs $9.99 per month, plus any tax that applies, for unlimited meetings. Each member needs their own.
- Weekly sessions. Two members who have already met can agree to meet at the same time every week. Both need a membership. Either can skip a week or stop at any time. If either membership ends, the weekly session is paused, the weeks not yet started are removed, and we tell you both that it is paused because both people need a membership. Either of you can restart it once you are both members.
- Renewal. Membership renews automatically every month, and your payment method is charged $9.99 each time, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time on your Membership page by choosing “Manage billing or cancel”. You keep your membership until the end of the month you have paid for and are not charged again.
- Price changes. If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first if you wish.
- Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, your membership may be paused until it is sorted out.
7. Refunds
- We do not refund part of a month when you cancel. You keep your membership until the month ends.
- If you were charged by mistake, or could not use Anchor2X because of a fault on our side, write to hello@anchor2x.com within 30 days of the charge and we will refund it.
- If we close your account without you having broken these terms, we will refund your current month.
- If we suspend or close your account because you broke these terms, we stop your membership from renewing, and you are not entitled to a refund for the month already paid.
Nothing here limits any refund rights the law gives you.
8. Inviting friends
- Founding member offer. The first 100 people to pass the ID check each get three free months of membership. Places are given in the order people pass the check, one per person, and the offer ends when the 100th is given; a place is not given again if a founding member later leaves. The free months are used in the same way as invite months, described below, and add to any invite months you earn. If you start a membership with free months, your first charge comes when they run out, unless you cancel first. The number of places left shown on the site may be up to a minute behind.
- Verified members get a personal invite link on their Membership page.
- When someone creates their first account through your link and passes the ID check, you each get one free month of membership. Signing up is not enough; the ID check has to be passed.
- You can earn up to 12 free months in any 365 days. The person you invited gets theirs regardless.
- If you are a member, a free month is a credit of $9.99 taken off your next bill. If you are not, it waits on your account and gives you 30 days before your first charge when you join. You add a card when you join, and can cancel before any charge.
- Free months have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not paid out or refunded.
- We tell you when someone you invited has been verified. We do not tell you who.
- Invite people you know. Do not invite yourself, create extra accounts, or post your link as spam. We may withhold or remove free months gained that way, and close the accounts involved.
- We may change or end the invite offer. Free months already earned stay on your account.
9. Your safety and our limits
Please read this section carefully.
- Our ID check confirms that a member showed a genuine ID, is an adult, and what gender marker is on it. It is not a criminal background check, and we do not vet members in any other way.
- We are not present in sessions and cannot control what another member says or does.
- You are responsible for your own choices about who you meet and what you share. Our Safety page has practical advice.
- You can block any member instantly and report them to us. A person reads every report.
- If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.
10. Reports, suspension and closing accounts
- If we believe a member has broken these terms or put someone at risk, we may warn them, suspend their account, or close it. Suspension removes them from matching and cancels their sessions.
- If we remove someone from Anchor2X, they may not rejoin. To enforce that, we keep a record that lets us recognise their email address and their ID, as our Privacy policy describes.
- We may act on a report without telling the reported member who made it.
- If your account is suspended and you think we got it wrong, write to hello@anchor2x.com. A person will read your message and reply.
- You can close your account at any time by writing to hello@anchor2x.com. Cancel your membership first so you are not charged again.
11. Other companies' services
Anchor2X relies on services run by other companies, including Didit, Stripe, Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms, and we are not responsible for how they work or for any time they are unavailable.
12. No guarantees
We work to keep Anchor2X running well, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, free of errors, or suited to a particular purpose, and we make no promises about the conduct of any member.
13. Limit of our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for the actions of other members, in or outside a session.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or lost data.
- Our total liability to you for anything connected with Anchor2X is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if that is greater.
Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. If something goes wrong, please write to hello@anchor2x.com first so we can try to put it right. Any dispute we cannot settle that way will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email members at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Anchor2X after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel and close your account.
16. The rest
- If a court finds part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- These terms, with our Privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about Anchor2X.
