Safety

Body doubling means sharing a video call with someone you have not met. You are always in control of who you work with. This page explains exactly what blocking and reporting do.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.

Blocking

Use this when you do not want to work with someone again, for any reason or none. You do not have to explain.

What happens

  • It takes effect immediately.
  • You and that person stop appearing in each other's matches.
  • Neither of you can send the other an invite.
  • Any unanswered invite or upcoming session between you is cancelled.

What the other person sees

They are not told they were blocked. You simply no longer appear for them. If you had a session booked, they get the usual “session cancelled” email.

Changing your mind

You can unblock someone at any time from the list at the bottom of this page. Nobody is notified.

Reporting

Use this when someone broke the rules below or made you uncomfortable. You do not need proof, and you do not need to be sure it “counts”. If something felt wrong, we want to know.

What happens

  1. Your report goes to a person on our team. It is never decided automatically.
  2. We email you straight away to confirm we have it.
  3. We read it, look at any earlier reports about the same member, and decide what to do.
  4. We email you again when the review is finished.

We aim to review every report within [REVIEW TIME].

What we can do

  • Warn the member.
  • Suspend their account, which removes them from matching and cancels their sessions.
  • Keep the report on file if no action is needed yet, so a pattern shows up later.

Your privacy

  • We never tell a member who reported them.
  • If you have only met them once, they may be able to guess. Blocking them as well means they cannot contact you through Anchor2X either way.
  • To protect everyone, we cannot tell you exactly what action was taken on someone else's account.
  • Only our review team can read reports.

Where to find block and report

Both lead to the same screen, where you can block, report, or do both.

What we expect of every member
